Prelim

For preparation for our 2 minute movie opening we created a preliminary video. From this exercise we started to develop skills that would be crucial in our film opening, for example how to correctly use panning shots and making them look as professional as possible. In addition to this, editing skills were also acquired as we spent more time editing than we did filming, this was an insight as to how much editing will be required to make our film opening look good. We learnt that for every seconds worth of film there are 24 frames that can be edited. For every shot we need to decide on camera angles and techniques, in our prelim we used a variety of shots; medium, panning and over the shoulder.
